I graduated from the University of Debrecen, Faculty of Medicine, in 2000, having already enrolled with the clear intention of becoming a rheumatologist. Working in balneotherapy and in treatments based on medicinal thermal waters and natural therapeutic factors is a true vocation for me, one that brings me immense fulfilment. It is deeply inspiring to work in an environment where I can witness our patients’ improvement on a daily basis and receive their appreciative feedback.

It is essential for me to dedicate adequate time to each patient, to provide clear and understandable information about their condition, and to guide them towards the most appropriate treatment options. I joined the department in 2023, when I was entrusted not only with patient care but also with the professional leadership of the unit. I was welcomed by a highly skilled and conscientious team whose dedication and wholehearted commitment are evident in all aspects of their work.

Beyond my clinical duties, it is equally important to me that as many people as possible learn about the diverse benefits of medicinal thermal water—not only its favourable effects on the joints, but also its broader contribution to overall health.

Since 2017, as President of the Medical and later the restructured Balneotherapy Committee of the Hungarian Bath Association, from April 2023 as National Chief Consultant of the NNGYK, and since November 2023 as a board member of the Hungarian Balneological Society, I have been working to promote the value and recognition of spa medicine.
